- 500 g ground beef 
- 250 g ground pork 
- 1/2 white onion, finely chopped 
- 2 eggs 
- 1 cup bread crumbs 
- 3 tablespoons ketchup (plus extra for topping) 
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 
- 1 teaspoon dried marjoram 
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 
- Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). 
 ⏱ Baking time: 45–50 minutes.
- Mix the ingredients: 
 In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, chopped onion, eggs, bread crumbs, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, dried marjoram, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Combine thoroughly: 
 Mix everything well using your hands (yes, it works best this way). Make sure the mixture is uniform, but avoid overmixing.
- Shape the loaf: 
 Transfer the mixture into a loaf pan or form it into an elongated shape on a baking tray lined with waxed or parchment paper.
- Add the topping: 
 Spread a layer of ketchup on top. This adds the signature shine and sweet flavor.
- Bake: 
 Bake for 45–50 minutes.
 Optional: For a browned top, raise the temperature or switch to broil for the last 5 minutes.
- Rest before serving:
