Sorrel is a very delicate leafy green and will only last in the refrigerator for about 3-4 days.
To store fresh Sorrel, wash and dry leaves then wrap in slightly dampened paper towels and store in a airtight container in the refrigerator. Usage Ideas: Smaller Sorrel leaves are often younger and more tender than thick, large Sorrel. Try adding the younger leaves to salads or sauté as you would spinach and other leafy green vegetables. The older leaves can stand up to heat and long cooking, so they should be used to flavor soups and sauces.
